Our Pastor
Dr. Eric Capaci began serving in the ministry as a youth pastor at the Faith Baptist Church of Canoga Park, California. While there, he was called of God to start the Gospel Light Baptist Church on June 7, 1992. Since that day, God has used Pastor Capaci to start ten Gospel Light Baptist Churches throughout America.
Pastor Capaci earned an undergraduate and graduate degree from Hyles-Anderson College. He also has honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees from Hyles-Anderson College and Oklahoma Baptist College.
God is using Pastor Capaci's enthusiasm for service and love for people to bless Gospel Light Baptist Church with an average weekly attendance of over 1,400 people. He is a frequent speaker in Bible conferences, youth conferences, revival meetings, camp meetings, bus seminars, and more throughout the United States and foreign countries.
Pastor Capaci has been married to Carolann (Yoshida) Capaci for 19 years, and they have 5 beautiful children - Matthias, Josiah, Ezekiel, Chloe, and GloryAnn.
