Dr. Eric Capaci serves as Senior Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Pastor Capaci earned an undergraduate and graduate degree from Hyles-Anderson College in 1988 and 1989 respectively. He also has honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees from Hyles-Anderson College and Oklahoma Baptist College. Upon graduating with his master's degree, Pastor Capaci began serving in the ministry as a youth pastor at the Faith Baptist Church of Canoga Park, California. While there, he was called of God to start the Gospel Light Baptist Church on June 7, 1992. For over eighteen years Pastor Capaci's experience, wisdom, and passion for God have made him a powerful proclaimer of God's Word. In addition to his ministering to the congregation on Gospel Light, Pastor Capaci also encourages and uplifts thousands of people all over the world via speaking engagements, podcasts, radio, and CD sermon series.

Pastor Capaci has authored eight books including A Powerful Program Makes a Difference, The Right Start, Through Mountains and Valleys, Recharge Your Bus Route, One Touched Life, Get Your Game Face On, Traits of a Champion, and most recently, Sermon Sentences.

Pastor Capaci's proudest accomplishments stem from his personal life. He and his wife, Carolann, have been married for twenty-two years, and they have five beautiful children - Matthias, Josiah, Ezekiel, Chloe, and GloryAnn. The Capacis enjoy entertaining people in their home and have hosted thousands there over the years. Pastor Capaci loves good food and fine dining; he particularly loves it when his wife, Carolann, makes her world-famous fried rice and Chinese chicken salad.
